Clexane 2000 I.U. Injection 2'S Antithrombosis
Clexane injection contain Enoxaparin.
Enoxaparin is an antithrombotic agent; a low molecular weight heparin that exists as a sodium salt, which acts by binding to Anti- Thrombin III leading to inhibition of coagulation, factors IIa and Xa.
Active ingredients:
Enoxaparin Sodium
Indications:
Clexane injection used for:
• Deep-vein thrombosis.
• Pulmonary embolism.
• Acute coronary syndromes: Unstable angina (UA), non-ST-elevation (NSTEMI), and ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).

• Bleeding.
• Bruising and pain at the injection site.
• Hyperkalemia.
Cautions:
• Used Clexane injection with extreme caution in patients with history of heparin- induced thrombocytopenia with or without thrombosis.
• Injection: should be used with caution in conditions with increased potential for bleeding such as: impaired hemostasis, history of peptic ulcer, recent ischemic stroke, uncontrolled severe arterial hypertension, diabetic retinopathy, recent neurological or ophthalmologic surgery.
• Risk of hyperkalemia appears to increase with duration of therapy but usually reversible; measure Plasma levels.

• Contraindicated in patients with severe uncontrolled hypertension.
• Contraindicated in patients with Acute major bleeding.
Interactions of Clexane:
• Diclofenac: enhance the anticoagulant effect resulting in hemorrhage.
