Diaphage film- coated tablets are tablets containing metformin which are used to treat type 2 diabetes.
Metformin belongs to a group of blood sugar- lowering medications called biguanide, which helps the body get rid of excess sugar in several ways.
It increases the response of cells to insulin, which increases the entry of sugar (glucose) from the blood into the cells to be used as an energy source.
Diaphage Tabs are used to reduce blood sugar because increased blood sugar causes many complications such as kidney problems, poor vision, and nerve problems.
