Glucovance 500 mg/2.5 mg – 30 Tablets
Metformin and glyburide are used as a diabetic treatment to lower blood glucose acutely by stimulating the release of insulin from the pancreas, an effect dependent upon functioning beta cells in the pancreatic islets. The mechanism by which glyburide lowers blood glucose during long-term administration has not been clearly established.
Indications :
• Treatment of adults, and adolescents with diabetes mellitus type 2.

• Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors.
• Disopyramide.
• Fibrates.
• Fluoxetine.
• Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
• Pentoxifylline.
• Propoxyphene.
• Salicylates & Sulphonamide.
