Novomix 30 contains Insulin Aspart
It is modern insulin with both a rapid and an intermediate-acting effect.
It’s used to reduce high blood sugar levels in adults, adolescents, and children aged 10 years and above with diabetes mellitus (diabetes).
It will start to lower blood sugar 10–20 minutes after injection, the maximum effect occurs between 1 and 4 hours after the injection, and the effect lasts for up to 24 hours.
In the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus, Novomix® 30 may be used in combination with tablets for diabetes.

Warning and Precautions:
• Tell the doctor if you have hypersensitivity to insulin aspart or any of the other ingredients.
• Tell the doctor if you have hypoglycemia (low blood sugar).
• Tell the doctor if you have problems in your kidneys or liver, or with your adrenal, pituitary, or thyroid glands.
• Use insulin infusion pumps.
• Do not drop, damage, improperly store, or freeze the injection pen.
• Resuspended insulin does not appear uniformly white, cloudy, and solid white particles stick to the bottom of the wall of the cartridge.
