Panadol Cold + Flu All in one tablet provide relief from cold + flu symptoms including chesty cough. It contains three main ingredients Paracetamol, Guaifenesin and Phenylephrine Hydrochloride.
Paracetamol belongs to a group of medicines called analgesics (painkillers) and is used to treat pain by inhibiting cyclooxygenase, COX-1 and COX-2, which are involved in prostaglandin (PG) synthesis. Prostaglandins are responsible for eliciting pain sensations. And have antipyretic effect that help in reducing fever.
Guaifenesin is used to help clear mucus or phlegm from the chest when you have congestion from a cold or flu.
Phenylephrine Hydrochloride is a decongestant that is used to relieve nasal discomfort caused by colds, allergies, and hay fever.
Indications:
• Chesty cough.
• Nasal Congestion.
• Sore throat.
• Headache and body ache.
• Fever.
Points of interest:
• Should not be taken with other products containing paracetamol at the same time.
• Do not use if you are taking, or have taken, within the last two weeks, monoamine oxidase inhibitors.
• Do not take continuously for more than 5 days without medical advice.
How to use:
Take 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours, do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours
