Atrovent 500 mcg / 2 ml solution
Atrovent contains pratopium Bromide.
An anticholinergic agent that inhibits vagal-mediated reflexes by acetylcholine antagonism and decreases the intracellular cGMP of the bronchial smooth muscles leading to bronchodilation.
Atrovent Indications:
• Short-term relief of asthma.
• Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
• Rhinitis.
How to use atrovent:
As per as direction of the doctor.

Side effects:
• Headache.
• Nausea.
• Dry Mouth.
Cautions:
• Caution in patients with prostatic hyperplasia, and bladder outflow obstruction.
• It should be used with caution with patients having cystic fibrosis as they may be prone to GIT motility disturbances.
• Eye pain or discomfort, blurred vision, visual halos, or colored images in association with red eyes.
Atrovent Interactions:
• Pasireotide: the risk of bradycardia increases when pasireotide is given with ipratropium.
