Fenticonazole
Lomexin contains fenticonazole, which is an antifungal medicine.
Lomexin works by triple-inhibitory action:
• It stops the growth and adhesion of fungi and bacteria by directly inhibiting their secretory aspartate proteinase and pyruvate oxidoreductase enzymes.
• It inhibits the integrity of the fungal cell wall by inhibiting the cytochrome P450 3A enzyme.
• It disrupts the normal functioning of the fungal cell by inhibiting its oxidase and peroxidase enzymes.
Lomexin uses :
• Vaginal thrush (candidiasis)
How to store:
Keep at room temperature.
