Panadol tablets provide relief from pain and alleviate bothersome symptoms associated with sinus congestion, as well as relieve headaches.
Panadol contains paracetamol, which belongs to a group of analgesics that function by inhibiting enzymes called cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2). These enzymes are involved in the formation of a substance called prostaglandin (PG), which plays a crucial role in the sensation of pain. Paracetamol effectively relieves pain, heat, and fever by inhibiting the production of these substances.
Additionally, the tablets contain pseudoephedrine, a decongestant used to treat nasal and sinus congestion, providing relief from headaches and congestion.

Indications:
• Panadol Sinus is used to relieve sinus pain and congestion.

How to use Panadol:
• It does not matter if you take this medicine before or after food.
• Adults and children 12 years and over:
- Take 2 caplets (capsule-shaped tablets) with water every 4 to 6 hours if required.
• Do not take more than 8 caplets in a 24 hour period.
• Children aged 12 to 17 years: Do not take for more than 48 hours, except on medical advice.
• Do not use in children below 12 years old.

Cautions:
• Do not use it with any other medications containing paracetamol.
• Do not take anything else containing paracetamol while taking this medicine.
• Do not use if you have a known or previous history of hypersensitivity to paracetamol, pseudoephedrine, or any other ingredient in this product.
• Do not use if you have severe hypertension or severe coronary artery disease.
• Do not use if you have severe renal impairment.
• Do not use if you are taking, or have taken within the last two weeks, monoamine oxidase inhibitors.
